Application:

Used to treat hard water, aquaculture, and settle suspended solids. Stabilizes pH, absorbs toxic substances in the pond, improves pond water quality, and improves the pond bottom to help shrimp molt easily and grow well.

Zeolite Used in ponds to remove H2S, CO2 and Ammonia; Appearance: granular, gray or light blue.

The pond is used to clean the pond bottom, because Zeolite particles have many cavities so they easily absorb toxic gases, this is the exchange between ions on Zeolite and ions in the environment.

Zeolite is a clay mineral compound, widely used in aquaculture, especially in intensive shrimp and fish farming. In aquaculture, zeolite has the ability to adsorb ammonia, but this adsorption ability is best in freshwater environments. As the salinity of the water increases, the ammonia adsorption ability of zeolite decreases because the ammonia adsorption ability of zeolite is strongly inhibited by cations dissolved in brackish water.
