FECL2 decolorizing chemical
Fecl2 is a chemical with a light blue or transparent liquid crystal color. The anhydrous form is white cubic crystals, or small flakes like talcum powder, small flakes shaped like hexagonal, specific gravity 2,98 melting point 673o.
At 25% - 30% molten FeCl2 conducts electricity well, is easily soluble in water, methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol. Iron (II) has reducing properties when reacting with oxidizing agents such as oxygen, chlorine, potassium permanganate.
